Fowey, Cornwall

July 22nd-25th Fowey,  A pleasant, scenic coastal, 25 mile sail away were the were villages of Fowey and Polruan.
Polruan looking inland
Throngs of holiday-makers along the quay
It's a busy little place

Pretty stuff afloat

round cockpits?
yep, round
This one's square.  Just another cruiser passing through, like many others from the Brest Maritime Festival on their way north
and ashore

  1. “~1200 nmi, straight downwind, 7days” That’s not the same ocean I was on!

  2. This looks like an interesting place to visit. I'm a big fan of boats and I usually spend most of my time in the ocean. Would love to visit this once in my life.

Such a beautiful glimpse of Fowey, Cornwall — the scenery and the harbor views are truly stunning! 🌊⚓ Your travel posts always capture the local charm so well. By the way, this reminds me how important reliable HT & LT Electrical Works are for coastal and shipyard areas like Polruan — keeping every light and system running smoothly amidst all that marine beauty. 💡⚙️
